Pasta for dinner in the Mission District!
I went with one of my best friend’s from grade school, who just recently moved to the city. We loved the atmosphere the moment we stepped inside. Cozy and charming, we ordered two pasta dishes to share. The first was the fazzoletti with braised beef, mushrooms, and rosemary! I don’t think I’d ever had the handkerchief-shaped pasta before – loved it. The second was the baked strozzapreti with broccolini and smoked mozzarella. I don’t love smoked cheeses, but the pasta was still delicious.
Barzotto was comfortable, quick, and affordable (for the city). We’re looking forward to going back again soon!
