And just like that, it’s Monday again… The weekends seem to fly by so quickly! First, Happy Chinese New Year! I spent Friday night celebrating Chinese New Year’s Eve with my family, enjoying a delicious spread my mom prepared (something she’s never really done before). Afterward, a group of my closest girlfriends from middle school met at Southern Pacific Brewing in the Mission. I had only been once before on a quiet night, but Friday was extremely busy. You could seriously feel everyone’s second wind after work.
Saturday was a lazy morning and we didn’t get moving until almost noon. However, it was a beautiful day. I think it was the first sunny weekend of the year. We walked to the Mission for a late brunch at Beretta (post to come), which was delicious. We also went a few months ago for my birthday dinner and had a great time. I think it might be my favorite spot in the neighborhood.
Sunday was another sunshiny day, and much more active! Michele and I kicked off the morning with a barre3 class and then a trip to the dog park. Later, post-lunch, I went on a hike with Sara up in Stevens Creek County Park. Ahh, and the air was so clean… I love crisp, winter days.
Ready for a productive week at work and Napa this weekend! Wine country, I’m coming for you. Wishing everyone a happy week!
